Diamond powder

The term diamond comes from the Greek word 'adamas', which means 'indomitable'. This name possibly comes from the fact that diamond is the hardest natural substance in the world. In 1955, it was possible to produce man-made diamonds for the first time. Industrial diamond is as hard as natural diamond. A distinction is made between monocrystalline and polycrystalline diamonds.
